Foundation Background
The University of Missouri College of Engineering (UMCOE) Foundation was created in 2009 to establish a non-profit organization that supported the College of Engineering at Mizzou. As with many state universities, Mizzou and the COE face continued challenges in their formal budgets when their objectives are to become premier education and research institutions. This Foundation is chartered to support the COE in its advancement by augmenting these limited budgets through alumni or corporate financial support.
UMCOE Foundation Mission Statement
The Mission of the University of Missouri College of Engineering Foundation is to provide resource and financial support to Mizzou Engineering’s faculty, facilities, research and students by raising funds, granting them to priority projects and stewarding donor investments.
UMCOE Foundation Vision
The UMCOE Foundation’s Vision is to advance the University of Missouri College of Engineering by fostering superior education of engineers, stimulating innovative research, and providing a state resource for economic development.
