2018 Fundraising Campaign for COE Dean’s Priorities

In 2017, the UMCOE Foundation held a fundraising campaign to raise money for Dean Loboa’s priorities for the College of Engineering. To kick off that effort, the Foundation provided $25,ooo to the Dean so that three Excellence in Research awards could be made to Engineering faculty who were doing exceptional research.  Again in 2018, the Foundation provided funds to the COE so that the Dean could award three more Excellence in Research awards to deserving faculty in September 2018.  This again kicks off the 2018 fundraising campaign.  Excellence in Research is one of the three priorities identified by the dean as described in our campaign flyer (below):  Excellence in Research, Dean’s Excellence Funds and Alumni Outreach and Engagement.
