State and national leaders recognize that engineering and technology are primary resources for economic excellence, as shown by support for STEM initiatives. The demonstrated role of engineers and scientists for the creation of new products and services is necessary to maintain our country’s technological leadership and standard of living in the presence of growing international competition.
This UMCOE Foundation provides gap-filling resources to help Mizzou’s College of Engineering continue its quest for excellence in meeting this challenge for our future, even within a period when state budgets have been dramatically restricted for upper education. Our alumni and friends of the College can provide valuable support for these objectives.
